Overview
The El Dorado Police Department's Criminal Investigation Section (CIS) currently has 3 detectives:
- General Investigations: Detective Kenneth Temaat and Detective Brandon Buck
- Supervisor: Lieutenant Detective Scott Roberts
CIS is tasked with investigating:
- Assisting the patrol division, when needed, on larger crime scenes
- Child sex crimes
- Felony person and property crimes
- Maintaining custody and control of all evidence
- Undercover drug investigations
Investigators also serve search warrants on a large portion of their cases. Investigators assigned to CIS rotate a call out schedule beyond normal working hours. All investigators are subject to call out on major crimes.
