Festival of Arts: Aloha

Workshops, tours, and activities over the weekend with special guest artists from Hawaii! Eva and A.B. Makk, will lead three ticketed guided painting classes (21+;BYOB). Each night, the staff will lead ticketed guests through the Coutts on a flashlight tour highlighting the darker history of the Museum. On Saturday, youth art activities will fill the Museum, A.B. will demonstrate impasto, a painting technique using a palette knife rather than a brush, in the lobby: hula dancing, hula instruction, and educational pieces on Hawaiian culture. Hawaiian food trucks for lunch and dinner. 4-6pm, Saturday, October 26, a public reception will be held. Call us today at 316.321.1212 to register for paint classes and flashlight tours!
