Join them for a guided tour through Sunset Lawns and Belle Vista Cemeteries to hear about the lives and deaths of some of El Dorado's most famous (and infamous) residents. Whether tragic, heroic, or merely peculiar, the stories will bring to life a slice of our community's colorful past. Each year's tour combines new stories with some old favorites, so it is always something a little bit different.

  17. PFRC Building Fundraiser Kickoff Event

    We're kicking off our biggest fundraiser yet! Come join us on October 30th to learn about the Pregnancy and Family Resource Center’s plans for the restoration of 107 N. Main (the old Gizmos building). Doors open at 5pm at 107 N. Main in downtown El Dorado, for tours of the existing building. Burgers and hot dogs will also be provided by Charley’s Appliance. Then from 6-7pm, we’ll unveil our plans for the future of the PFRC and this historic building.
