It shall be the duty of the chief of police to make a detailed report to the city manager, at least once a month and at such other times as he may require, of the duties and work performed by the police department in such form as the city manager may require. The chief of police shall keep a record of those persons sentenced to jail, the offense, the term, when released and by what authority. (Prior code § 13-115)
