In consideration of the furnishing of the firefighting service as provided herein, El Dorado Township and Prospect Township, both in Butler County, Kansas, shall levy a total of four mills in 1989, and each year thereafter until changed by subsequent agreement between such parties, on all of the tangible property in the township, not including a corporate city, as authorized under KSA 80-1502 and 80-1503, as amended, thereby raising a sum to be paid to the city for firefighting services provided for hereunder, the same for which shall be paid to the city by such townships in three installments within twenty (20) days after January twentieth, July twentieth, and October thirty-first of each year and it is hereby determined that the funds derived from such tax levies are respectfully sufficient to pay the city for the reasonable use of its equipment, the cost of materials used in fighting the fires in the respective townships, and to pay the compensation due to the firefighters of the city.
