The commission shall meet within two weeks following the appointment of its members and organize by selecting one of its members as chairperson and one as vice-chairperson and such other officers as may be necessary and they shall serve one year and until their successors have been selected. The city planning commission shall meet thereafter at least once each month at such time and place as may be fixed by the commission, and special meetings may be called by the chairperson or in his or her absence by the vice-chairperson and a majority of the commission shall constitute a quorum for the transaction of business. The commission shall cause a proper record to be kept of all its proceedings. (Prior code § 18-103)
