On or before the first Monday in July of each year the city planning commission shall submit to the governing body a budget of estimated expenditure for the ensuing fiscal year itemizing the expense, the amounts and purpose. Thereupon the governing body shall consider the budget and make such allowance for the city planning commission as it may deem proper. (Prior code § 18-106)
