A. No person shall be assessed costs for the administration of justice in any municipal court cases, except for witness fees and mileage.

B. Municipal Judge's Training Fund. On or after July 1, 1989, one dollar ($1.00) shall be assessed on each municipal case in which there is a finding or plea of guilty, a plea of no contest, forfeiture of bond or a diversion.

If there is more than one complaint filed against the person involved arising out of the same incident, all those complaints shall be considered as one case for the purpose of this section and only one dollar ($1.00) shall be assessed.

Charges of parking violations shall not be considered cases for the purpose of this section, and no assessment shall be made hereunder for such a violation.

The municipal judge or clerk of the municipal court shall remit at least monthly to the state treasurer for deposit in the state treasury to the credit of the municipal judge's training fund all money received under the terms of this section. (Prior code § 12-109)
