Chapter 5.12 MERCHANT POLICE SERVICES
5.12.090 Identification.
In addition to the license or permit required in this chapter, the
director of public safety shall issue an identification card to each licensee
and each permittee and each licensee and permittee shall carry the
identification card at all times while on duty as a merchant police officer. The
identification card shall include the following information:
A. The type
of license or permit and expiration date thereof;
B. Name, address and
physical description of the licensee or permittee who is an agent or employee of
a merchant police service;
C. The name of the employer if the licensee
or permittee is an agent or employee of a merchant police
service;
D. The signature of the licensee or permittee and that of the
chief of police;
E. Such information as the chief of police may deem
necessary. (Prior code § 6-1009)
