A. The governing body of the city shall examine the application and if they approve the same, and if the applicant is qualified as provided by law and has paid the required fee, shall issue a license to the applicant.

B. The action of the governing body of the city upon such application shall show upon the minutes of the commission meeting. If the license is granted, the governing body shall direct the city clerk to issue the license. If the application is denied, the license fee deposit shall be returned to the applicant.

C. The license shall be issued for the date, time, place and event stated in the application. (Prior code § 6-903)
