Within ten days after the last day of the public auction, the applicant shall file in duplicate with the city clerk an inventory of all goods, wares and merchandise sold at such auction and the price received therefor, which inventory shall be verified by the person who filed the application for the license with the city clerk. The city clerk shall immediately after receiving such report and inventory forward a copy thereof to the Director of Revenue, State Office Building, Topeka, Kansas 66612. (Prior code § 6-707)
