Chapter 5.28 VEHICLES FOR HIRE
5.28.060 Qualifications.
No person shall be registered as a driver of a vehicle carrying passengers
for hire within the city who is under eighteen (18) years of age, or who has
been convicted of a felony or of a violation of any liquor laws of the federal
government, state or ordinances of the city within two years preceding the date
of his or her application, or who is not of good character and of sound mind and
body and unless he or she has been issued by the state and has in his or her
possession the necessary driver's license required by current federal or state
statutes for the type of vehicle the applicant is intending to operate. (Ord.
