Every vehicle operated by a person licensed or registered under the provisions of this chapter shall have plainly painted upon the outside thereof, the name of the owner or operator thereof and a word designating the business operated by such vehicle, in letters at least four inches in height on each side thereof and also on the back thereof, if practicable.
