Upon receipt of an application meeting the requirements of Sections 6.12.010 and 6.12.020 of this chapter, the city clerk or designated agent shall issue a license after payment of the applicable fees as follows:

A. Each un-neutered dog or cat — Forty dollars ($40.00) per year;

B. Each neutered dog or cat — five dollars ($5.00) per year.

Provided, that any animal which is incapable of reproduction as verified by a licensed veterinarian, shall be considered neutered for the purpose of licensing.

Provided, that the city clerk or designated agent shall issue one duplicate tag to replace a tag which has been lost, upon payment of a replacement fee of five dollars ($5.00). (Ord. G-1011 § 1 (part), 2007: Ord. G-1001 § 1 (part), 2007)
