No alarm system will be installed in the city unless it contains a device which automatically shuts off the audible alarm signal after it has sounded for fifteen (15) minutes. No alarm system will be permitted to be in operating condition after sixty (60) days from the effective date of this section unless it has an automatic shut-off. (Prior code § 13-706)
