A. Upon the failure or refusal of the alarm user to pay the false alarm fee, the chief of police shall notify the alarm user, business or resident, by restricted certified mail, return receipt requested, that the police department will discontinue responding to the activation of this alarm system at the end of five days from the date of the letter unless payment is made.

B. The police department shall resume responding to such alarm system activations upon receipt of payment of the false alarm fees. (Prior code § 13-704)
