Chapter 9.16 PROPERTY OFFENSES
9.16.030 Water supply.
A. It is unlawful for any person to place, leave or permit to remain, or
to bury any dead animal or fowl within two hundred fifty (250) feet of the
normal water edge of the Walnut River or the west branch of the Walnut River
upstream and within five miles of the city limits; or to throw, place or leave
filth or cleanings of any privy vault or cesspool, or to erect or maintain any
privy vault or cesspool, stables, hogpen, barn, tent, residence or building of
any kind within fifty (50) feet of the normal edge of the waters or the water of
said rivers and conserved by the dam across the Walnut River located at or near
the east end of Locust Street of the city, or within one mile upstream from the
limits of the city.
B. Violation of this section is a Class C violation.
