Any person, firm or corporation desiring to obtain a permit for the purpose of Section 12.12.010 of this chapter, shall make an application to the city engineer and shall describe the work to be done and the location thereof. The city engineer shall determine the fees to be paid for such purpose upon the basis of the application, and upon the payment of the fees, which shall thereafter be paid to the city clerk, the city engineer shall grant a permit to such person, firm or corporation and shall supply him or it with a copy of the specifications established for the doing of such work. The fees shall be credited to the general fund of the city. (Prior code § 14-202)
