A. The fees for the above purpose shall be determined upon the following basis:

1. For the first square yard or fraction thereof of concrete or concrete base or macadam base paving in any street or alley, the sum of fifty dollars ($50.00);

2. For each additional square yard of such concrete or pavement, the sum of twenty-five dollars ($25.00);

3. For each square yard or fraction thereof of all other types of permanent or semipermanent paving surface, including gravel, the sum of fifteen dollars ($15.00);

4. For each excavation in an unimproved street or alley, the sum of ten dollars ($10.00);

5. For the first square yard or fraction thereof of concrete sidewalk, the sum of twenty dollars ($20.00);

6. For each additional square yard of concrete sidewalk, the sum of fifteen dollars ($15.00);

7. For the first square yard or fraction thereof of sidewalk of other material, the sum of ten dollars ($10.00);

8. For each additional square yard of sidewalk of other material, the sum of six dollars ($6.00);

9. For curb replacement, the sum of twelve dollars ($12.00) per foot or fraction thereof.

B. Where curbs are cut or removed, or cut and replaced, all such work shall be done at the expense of the person, company or corporation having a permit for such purpose, the same to be done in accordance with the specifications of the city engineer. (Prior code § 14-203)
