12.24.090 Street trees--Spacing.

The spacing of street trees shall be in accordance with the size of the trees to be planted. Recommended spacing of street trees is approximately thirty (30) feet between small trees, approximately forty (40) feet between medium trees, and approximately fifty (50) feet between large trees. The director of public utilities, park superintendent, or the tree board may make exceptions for special plantings that deviate from these distances. (Ord. G-786 § 2 (part), 1994: prior code § 16-115)
