A. No person shall extend any sanitary sewer as authorized by this chapter without having first obtained a permit from the city clerk. All extensions shall be made in compliance with the plumbing code for the city.

B. Extensions of all rural sewer districts mains shall be reviewed by the city engineer to assure design and specifications are equal to or exceed those used by the city. In no case may the design and specification for any rural sewer district main extension be less than those followed by the city. (Prior code § 9-409)
