13.20.140 Rural sanitary districts--Point of interconnection and metering system.

A. The point of interconnection of the rural sewer district and the city sanitary sewer system shall be determined solely by the city. The cost for construction of any facilities required to bring wastewater to the interconnection point, shall be at the expense of the rural sewer district.

B. All wastewater discharged into the city sanitary sewer system shall be measured. Metering device(s) shall be a design and type approved and acceptable to the city.

C. The flow measuring device(s) shall be calibrated annually with the cost of this divided equally between the rural sewer district and the city. Any cost to maintain the flow-measuring device(s) are to be borne by the rural sewer district. (Prior code § 9-410)
