It is unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to move any house, building or other structure with a floor area of two hundred (200) or more square feet upon, across or through any street, alley or sidewalk in the city without first having obtained approval from the building inspector and securing a house mover's license. Such license shall be issued by the city clerk upon approval of the building inspector of the application therefor and the payment of a fee for each house mover's license in the sum of fifteen dollars ($15.00). Such license shall expire on December thirty-first of each year. (Prior code § 5-801)
