Chapter 15.20 ELECTRICAL CODE
15.20.110 Final inspection.
The electrical inspector shall be notified when any electrical work is
complete and ready for final inspection and he or she shall, as soon as
practicable, inspect such work, and if such work conforms with this chapter, the
inspector shall release the work to the utility company for service. A
certificate of inspection shall be issued after a showing that such work meets
the requirements of this chapter. It is unlawful for any person, firm or
corporation to make a connection for a source of electric energy to any electric
wiring, apparatus, appliances or equipment for which a permit is required until
approved by the electrical inspector; provided, that the inspector may authorize
temporary connections for the purpose of testing any such work or for other
reasons requiring electrical current when the same shall not be hazardous to
