Chapter 15.20 ELECTRICAL CODE
15.20.120 Reinspections.
The electrical inspector shall make a thorough reinspection of all
electrical wiring, apparatus, appliances or conductors whenever it may be deemed
advisable, and shall be authorized to enter upon any premises or in any building
within the corporate limits for this purpose. When the installation of any
electrical wiring, apparatus, appliances or equipment is found to be in a
dangerous or unsafe condition and not in compliance with this chapter, the
person, firm or corporation owning, using or operating the same shall be
notified in writing and shall make the necessary repairs and replacements
required to place such wiring, apparatus or appliance or equipment in compliance
with this chapter, within the time set forth in the notice. On failure to comply
with the written notice, the inspector is authorized to notify the utility
company supplying electric energy to such building or premises to cease electric
service and to keep such service disconnected until further notice from the
electrical inspector that such condition has been corrected. (Ord. G-770 §
