All licensed electrical contractors of the city shall license their current helpers according to Section 15.24.040 within the thirty-day period following the date of passage of the ordinance codified in this section. All individuals licensed according to Section 15.24.040 during this time period will be exempt from the supervisory requirements as stipulated in Section 15.24.010(F)(1) until January 1, 1999. (Ord.
