Before any license shall be issued to any plumbing or gas fitting contractor, the applicant shall have filed with the city proof of general liability insurance in the amount of at least five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000.00) combined single limit including but not limited to contractual liability, independent contractors and completed operations.
