15.32.140 Permit required--Exception.

Residence owners of property need not be licensed or qualified plumbers and may be issued permits for work to be done on such premises personally owned and resided in by such owner. This shall not be construed however, to allow plumbing associated with buildings and repairing houses for lease, rent or sale. If said owner shall employ or use any person or persons to assist him/her in such work, such assistant shall be a certified and licensed plumber. All plumbing work shall be subject to permits, inspections and approval before the same may be used or permitted to be connected to the public sewer or water main. (Ord. G-770 § 3 (part), 1993: prior code § 5-512)
