Law enforcement is an exciting and adventurous field. A great way to enter this ever-changing line of work is to join a police reserve organization. The El Dorado Police Reserves is a volunteer-based organization that supplements the paid department.
Duties include everything a full-time paid officer would be responsible to do. Upon joining the reserves, you would be required to complete an in-house police academy. This academy will give you the basic knowledge to function as an officer while under the supervision of a field-training officer. You will then ride with a field-training officer to enhance your skills and knowledge that will complete your training academy. We are always looking for new members to increase our numbers! This is a great way to serve your community and to add a lot of excitement to your life!
If you are interested, please contact the following: Sergeant David Sewell. All of these people
can be reached at 316-321-9120 or in person at 128 North Vine,
