Uniform Building Code
The City of El Dorado
has since 1967 adopted the Uniform Building Code. The Uniform Building Codes
are a product of the International Conference of Building Officials, and are
adopted on a national and international basis. This code is a revolving code
that changes every three years. Its purpose is to provide a minimum
construction standard that provides for the health and safety of the
individuals who occupy a structure.
The City of El Dorado
is currently under and actively enforces the:
1997 UFC, Uniform Fire Code (link will be
available shortly)
1996 NEC, National Electrical Code (link will be available shortly)
1991 UPC, Uniform Plumbing Code (link will be
