  • On Friday, November 2, 2007, the body of Michael A. Robertson, a 32-year-old black male from Wichita, was discovered in the El Dorado Lake near the area of NE 70th and Cole Creek Road, better known as the “jumping bridge.” Last known contact with Robertson was on October 29th.
  • Sometime between 7:00 PM on Saturday, October 20 and 10:00 AM on Sunday, October 21, 2007, unknown person(s) entered a building on the Butler Community College El Dorado Campus and removed several items.

  • At approximately 11:27 PM on Saturday, August 25, 2007, a hit and run accident occurred in the 1700 Block of Rado. The suspect vehicle hit a parked and unattended vehicle in a private drive and should have front end damage. The suspect vehicle was then seen traveling north on Eunice.

A white passenger car with a dull black hood was seen in the area shortly after 1:00 AM on Wednesday and could be involved.

The suspect vehicle is a red Chevrolet or GMC, Colorado or Canyon, with damage to the driver's side front end. The victim is offering an additional $100 reward in conjunction with Crime Stoppers.

  • Sometime between Thursday, June 8 and Wednesday, June 14, 2006, unknown person(s) stole a riding lawn mower and trailer valued around $13,800 from a location in the 1500 Block of West Sixth.
  • On the afternoon of May 8, 2006, the deceased body of Treasa Jackson was located in the vicinity of the Hackler Boat Ramp, on the northwest side of El Dorado Lake. The investigation has shown that Treasa was murdered sometime in late April or early May 2006. Treasa was known to associate with persons in and around the Wichita, Sedgwick County area. It is believed that someone has information that could assist law enforcement with the investigation.

  • On Monday, May 2, 2005, in the early morning hours, unknown person(s) drove by a 405 S. Alleghany, El Dorado, and shot the glass door of the residence with a BB gun. The suspect(s) then shot a black Ford Expedition parked in the street in front of the residence several times, hitting the back window and passenger side window and door.

  • Between Monday evening, December 15 and Tuesday morning, December 16, 2003, in an area bordered by Jones and Eunice Street and Central and Sixth Avenue, five cars were broken into and the stereos and related electronic equipment removed. Taken during the car burglaries from the 100 Block of Eunice was a white 1986 Oldsmobile Cutlass, and recovered in the 400 Block of Hillside was a gold 1990 Mercedes Benz 4-door stolen in Wichita.

  • On Wednesday, November 26, 2003, around 3:30 PM, a subject attempted to break open a vending machine at River Road Apartments but was stopped by maintenance personnel. The subject was described as a white male, slender build (140 to 150 pounds), around 6'00" tall, in his 30's or 40's with short brown hair, goatee and mustache, wearing blue jeans, a green sweatshirt and a gray and white ball cap. The man left the scene in a gray or silver Honda passenger car.

  • Between 11:30 PM on Friday, November 7 and 7:00 AM on Saturday, November 8, 2003, unknown person(s) removed several plastic crates containing dolls and candles from the driveway of 1257 S. Summit, El Dorado.
  • Between Thursday, October 16 and Wednesday, October 22, 2003, unknown person(s) removed a red 2000 Ford Escort from the parking lot of the Fenton Ford Dealership. The vehicle was later recovered in Manhattan, Kansas.

The suspects were described as 18 to 20 years of age, one with long blonde hair in a ponytail and a goatee, the other with dark curly hair.

  • On Monday, November 7, 2002, around 9:30 PM a white female was jogging northbound in the 400 Block of South Haverhill Road when she was struck by a northbound car. The suspect vehicle is thought to be a dark-colored car with possible damage to the passenger side.
  • On Saturday, October 26, 2002, around 11:30 AM, a reckless driver struck a mailbox in the 700 Block of South High. The suspect vehicle is described as a large, yellow, older-model car driven by a large white male. Any damage to the vehicle would be to the front and passenger side of the vehicle, and the impact flattened the front passenger side tire and the driver left the scene south on High on the flat tire and rim.

  • Between 7:00 PM on Tuesday, August 20 and Wednesday, August 21, 2002, unknown person(s) entered the attached garage at 630 W. Olive and removed a Barbie battery-powered Jeep, a Rand 20" girls bicycle and two (2) Rubbermaid plastic tubs with 30 Playstation and Sega Dreamcast games and systems.

  • Between 5:00 PM on Thursday, August 1 and 8:00 AM on Friday, August 2, 2002, unknown person(s) damaged some vehicles belonging to the Butler County Appraiser's Office.
  • Between 12:00 PM on Wednesday, July 31 and 7:30 AM on Saturday, August 3, 2002, unknown person(s) entered a wrecked car at Squires Towing, 422 E. Locust, El Dorado, and removed a car stereo and other property.
  • On Sunday, June 16, 2002, around 6:35 AM, an El Dorado Police Officer heard an explosion in the 200 Block of Cave Springs. Upon investigation, the neighbors in the area said that around the time of the explosion they saw a white Blazer-type vehicle with a silver design on the back fender pulling away from the curb where this occurred.

  • Sometime between 5:00 PM on February 13, 2002, and 7:30 AM on February 14, 2002, unknown person(s) forcibly entered Farmer's Insurance Building, 223 N. Main, El Dorado, and removed a small amount of cash from one of the offices.
  • Sometime between 6:00 PM on February 13, 2002, and 7:30 AM on February 14, 2002, unknown person(s) forcibly entered Plummer Dentistry, 535 S. Main, El Dorado, and removed a small amount of cash from an office.
  • Sometime between 12:45 AM and 2:15 AM on February 11, 2002, unknown person(s) entered Prime Time Total Store, 1702 W. Central, El Dorado, and removed an undetermined amount of cash.
  • On February 3, 2002, a victim reported to Police the serial numbers of a Browning semi-automatic handgun that had been removed from a residence located at 202 1/2 N. Jones, El Dorado between December 25, 2001, and January 27, 2002.
  • Between January 1 and January 12, 2002, unknown person(s) removed from Seivley's Green House, 415 Metcalf, El Dorado, a home-built trailer. The trailer is described as black, 10' long x 8' wide, flat-bed style with a wooden floor, a white pin stripe and trailer lights. The towing tongue is also bent.
  • Between December 10 and December 11, 2001, unknown person(s) forcibly entered El Dorado Building Systems Inc., 1216 W. Sixth, El Dorado, and removed several items including a book of checks. On 12/14/2001, a subject tried to pass one of the stolen checks at the Dillon's Store at 13th and Tyler in Wichita. The suspect is described as a white female, 5'-4", 125 pounds, around 25 years of age, bleached blonde hair worn twisted up in the back, and dressed in a gray sweat suit. Witnesses said the woman's most outstanding features were freckles around her very brilliant blue eyes.
  • Between Thursday night, November 27 and Friday morning, November 28, 2001, unknown person(s) removed a 30,000 BTU Coleman heater, tools for hanging drywall and several extension cords from the construction site at 1235 Prairie View.
  • Sometime between 4:00 PM on Monday, November 12 and 8:00 AM on Tuesday, November 13, 2001, unknown person(s) forcibly entered 3-2-1 Kawasaki at 2405 W. Central, El Dorado and removed a red 2000 Ninja ZX-12 motorcycle.
  • At approximately 9:15 PM on Sunday, May 20, 2001, unknown person(s) driving a red sports car struck a parked and unattended vehicle in the 1000 block of west Towanda and left the scene prior to Officer's arrival. An additional $750 reward is available for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the driver.
  • At approximately 3:34 PM on Saturday, May 12, 2001, unknown person(s) robbed the Casey's General Store at 420 W. 6th in El Dorado.
