Residential & Commercial Water Rates

Current water rates for in-city customers, per 100 cubic feet (CF), or 748 gallons, of usage are:

• 0 to 1,500 CF - $1.39
• 1,501 to 30,000 CF - $1.22
• Over 30,000 CF - $1.11

A readiness-to-serve charge based on meter size also applies:

• 5/8 x 3/4 - $6.90
• 1" - $6.90
• 1½" - $13.80
• 2" - $27.60
• 3" - $55.20
• 4" - $138.00
• 6" - $276.00
• 12" - $1,656.00

Customers outside the city limits are charged 175% of the above amounts, per 100 cubic feet of usage:

• 0 to 1,500 CF - $2.43
• 1,501 to 30,000 CF - $2.14
• Over 30,000 CF - $1.93

A readiness-to-serve charge also applies to out-of-town customers, 175% of the above amounts.

Residential & Commercial Sewer Rates

A $6.50 readiness-to-serve monthly charge is applied to all in-city customers connected to the City’s sewer system. In addition, through the months of December, January and February, a customer’s sewer charge is calculated at $2.32 per 100 cubic feet of water usage. The average for this three-month period is then used to base the sewer charge for the remaining nine months.
